Dr. John J Nevins, DO - Chatham, NJ - Family Medicine (2025)

I love everyone there. They are so nice and professional.

We went over my latest bloodwork and my current prescriptions Made some adjustments. I feel the doctor listen to everything I had to say, and addressed all of my concerns. He put a lot of my worries to rest, and I feel that my health has improved with the new medication's.

Follow up after the visit with blood work results and x-rays less that expected.I had to pursue the Doctor for what the next steps are.I have been chasing my specific pains & concerns with my doctor since 2019.HAs NOT gone any where quickly. I understand everyone Is very busy. Medicine Is NOT what Is use to be In my opinion.

Nurse was very efficient, friendly, courteous, considerate. Doctor was knowledgeable about my medical history, listened to my concerns and responded with helpful suggestions.

Everyone in the office was delightful. Dr. Nevins was thorough and answered all of my questions.

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Nevins and the Chatham Family Medicine group. Dr. Nevins makes me feel heard, you can tell he actually cares, and he never rushes me and always looks at me when he is speaking to me-unlike other physicians. The nurses are kind, and always make me feel comfortable and cared for. The receptionists are always kind and efficient to get me checked in/out and any referrals or prescription info I need printed. I'm extremely grateful I found them :)

Dr. Nevins made time to fit my elderly mother at the end of the day even though he was booked in to examine her because she was having severe symptoms that could not wait.He provided helpful medical advise. He is a sincere, caring physician and puts in 150% to his patients. He is dedicated to his profession which you don't find in other physicians today.

Visit was good with routine check and blood test. Did not see any improvement needed.

*Dr. Nevins is a wonderful dr.! My 16 yr. old son is a new patient & was diagnosed with diabetes. *Dr. Nevins had to send us to the hospital immediately from the office. He was kind, compassionate & helpful. When we returned for a follow up, he understood my son missed too much school & took his bloodwork so we didn't have to take him out of school to go to a lab. He is how all drs. should be! I am SO happy we switched to him from the pediatrician.

*Dr. Nevins has improved alot since last time I had to do this survey. He _____ and takes the needed and requested steps. He will keep on improving.

My Autistic adult son is a patient of Dr. Nevins. During our most recent visit, he had fantastic behavior. However, just as we exited the reception area, and into the waiting area, he pulled my hair aggressively as he yanked it down. I couldn't pry his hands open. He eventually let me go, just as Dr. Nevins and his aide were stepping out into the waiting area, to assist me. Dr. Nevins was so kind as he walked us back inside to an exam room again, while my son calmed down and I composed myself. His assistant got me a cup of water. Dr. Nevins stayed there with us to make sure I was ok. Then he went a step further as to escort us outside. Dr. Nevins, asked me to go to my car, and he walked my son Jordan outside and made sure that he was safely strapped with his seatbelt inside the vehicle. He was so Very Kind to assure My safety as well as my son's. I really appreciated that. Thank you Dr. Nevins

Was a 4-5 week wait for a wellness appt. Could have seen any doctor in the practice.

Excellent all the way through.

Dr Nevins always makes you feel comfortable. He listens to you carefully and gives easy to understand answers. He also suggests seeing specialist such as eye doctors and dermatologists and will recommend a doctor for you to see. I couldn't be happier with the care provided by Dr. Nevins.

I have MS & this is always part of my treatment discussions including this visit.

Dr. Nevins called me on a Saturday because my blood work was abnormal. I appreciate this very much.
